First post

This is placeholder text for the first post. It exists so the writing section has a real page to render, so the index has a real entry to link, and so the post template is proven end to end before anything worth reading goes through it.

The eventual first post will replace this one. Candidate topics: how the maxout.art game engine stays frame-accurate to the NES original, how console capture turns a capture-card feed into coaching reports, or why this site is built with no framework and no build step.
