Jack Harris
Developer. I build fast, faithful software.
I make tools that take a real-world skill seriously. My main project is maxout.art, a training site for competitive NES Tetris: a frame-accurate replica of the original game, puzzle drills with graded feedback, ranked matches against people and bots, and console capture so games played on real hardware can be recorded and analyzed.
This site follows the same philosophy as the things I build: it is plain HTML with no framework and no build step, every page carries its own styles so it renders in a single request, and links preload the moment you point at them. It should feel instant.
